Zoe-perry

Perry was born on the 25th of July 1968 in Chicago In Illinois, she was the child of Laurie Metcalf Perry and Jeff Perry. One of her first TV appearances were as Jackie Harris on ABC's sitcom Roseanne. Her mother played her role. Perry was forbidden to perform in front of her family until an adulthood stage, because they were concerned about the stress it would cause. Perry claims she never wanted to perform in high school, but she decided to begin performing as a form of social interaction at Northwestern University when she switched to the university from Boston University. Perry started her acting career as an actress in New York after graduation, getting small parts in Law & Order: Criminal Intent. However, the feeling of homelessness made Perry go back to California and find work as a theater actress. She and her mother starred on Broadway as a couple for the play The Other Place, in 2013. The show was directed by Eugene O'Neill. Pulitzer Prize winner Anna Christie as well as Kevin McKidd. This was staged at West Los Angeles' Odyssey Theatre Ensemble. Perry played a part in nine episodes of ABC's thriller The Family during 2016. In 2017, she played a recurring role on her own ABC drama about politics Scandal starring her father. The character she played was an older Mary Cooper (Sheldon Cooper's mother) in Young Sheldon. This spin-off series that was part of the CBS show The Big Bang Theory was another portrayal by her younger mother. Despite the fact that she has a connection with her family to the character she received the role through an audition.
