Ina-Garten

Ina Garten is an American author of cookery books as well as Emmy Award-winning host for the Food Network's most popular program, Barefoot Contessa which began broadcasting in 2002, has 27 seasons until 2020. Ina started her career with nuclear energy policy and budgets for the White House. Though she found the career interesting initially, she eventually stopped her pursuit and purchased a small specialty store called Barefoot Contessa. After nearly 18 years of making the business a massive success, she decided to sell it and started creating her first novel. A number of different cookbooks and magazines were later published. Between them the Food Network show was also an enormous success. She also sells a range of product from cooking ingredients as well as storage containers and equipment. Ina has never attended a cookery school nor was she employed in a dining establishment. Her education is completely self-taught. She is well-known for her effortless approach to entertainment and simple cooking. Her most well-known recipes include Skillet - Roasted Lemon Chicken Mac and cheese Mac, Beef Bourguignon and cheese paired with Beatty's Chocolate Cake, and Lemon Bars.
