Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise was an American singer, actress, and writer, best known as Ginger Grant from the TV series Gilligan's Island. Her stage career began in the mid 1950s when she appeared in Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. In the 1950s, she acted as a stage actor in a few Broadway productions before gaining into the spotlight with her hit song 'Lil' Abner's debut in 1957. She also released her first album, titled It's Time to Tina during the same year. Her first appearance in Hollywood was in the role of Griselda in God's Little Acre, a 1958 film. The film was met with wide applause. Louise won the Golden Globe Award under the New Star of the year category. In the course of this film, she was enrolled into Actors Studio in New York and formed a connection to Lee Strasberg as his student. Her next unforgettable role was in 1964. The actress signed with CBS for the role of Ginger Grant. Louise Balfour managed to juggle between Broadway and Hollywood playing a somber, sombre character contrast to her image of an attractive doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. She has also appeared in SG-1 and Helen Magnus, but in recent years, she has earned a reputation as a producer on a variety of famous TV shows, including Supernatural. Her family relocated from Essex to Toronto and she lived there for growing up and in adolescence. Samantha Carter settled in Vancouver, Canada after her selection for the role of lead.
