Cassandra Monique Batie aka Andra Day, is a American R&B/Soul singer-songwriter. The singer has received numerous awards like the Grammy Award a Children's and Family Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award along with nominations for the Academy Award. Andra Days is a ferocious performer who writes well. Not only is she an expert in the throwback genre of R&B Her musical sources are blues and gospel jazz. Her debut album, Cheers to The Fall (2015) she broke into the Top Ten R&B/hip hop charts and earned a few Grammy nominations. In 2017, her contribution to Marshall's soundtrack was also recognized with an Academy Award. Expectations for her next proper album is growing through singles including Amen (2018) and Make Your Troubles Go Away (2020) and a Golden Globe-winning performance of Billie Holiday in The United States vs. Billie Holiday (2021). Born Cassandra Monique Batie in Edmonds Washington Andra Day was raised living in San Diego and its metropolitan city, where she performed at worship and attended the School of Creative and Performing Arts. After after graduation, she started to explore contemporary R&B, pop and jazz however, she was enticed back to the jazz and soul performers of the old. Kai Millard Morris was able to attend a show she performed and took Day's songs home with the singer. Motown famous Adrian Gurvitz connected Day and the seasoned music businessman. Allied to Gurvitz along with Jeffrey Evans' Buskin label Day gained a large Youtube following before signing with major-label Warner Bros. n 2012 Day made her debut track Forever Mine on YouTube. The song quickly taken up and played on the radio by numerous DJs. After that, she joined Warner Bros. Records and started work with the producer Adrian Gurvitz to record the album that she released as her debut, Cheers to the Fall (2015). The album included the single Rise Up, which was a popular song for the social justice movement across the globe. Day was nominated for two Grammys which included Best R&B Album. The United States vs. Billie Holiday, a concept-album about the legendary jazz singer's life, was released in the year 2019. She also starred in The United States vs. Billie Holiday, a film that tells the story of Holiday. Andi Mathichak was born and raised in the United States. She began her career in television shows like Orange Is the New Black and 666 Park Avenue and Blue Bloods. Her film debut was as Allyson in the series of horror Halloween. Andi Matichak is an American actress who was born on March 3, 1994, in Framingham Massachusetts United States.
