Lisa Olivia Munn grew up in Oklahoma City. She was the daughter of Kimberly Schmid, lived in Vietnam and has Chinese origin, and the father of her, Winston Barrett Munn, is from a family with deep roots in the American South. Olivia was just 2 years old when she was divorced from her parents. Her current family is run by her mother and stepfather. He is an United States Air Force soldier. The majority of her childhood was spent in Tokyo, Japan, even though the family moved around frequently. At this point she was a part of various local theater productions. Later, she became a model in the Japanese fashion industry. Olivia moved back in Los Angeles after the family's returning back to this part of the United States. She pursued her dream of being an actor. Her acting journey began with a small character. It was then that her acting career took off when she was hired as Mily Acuna in Hawaii's lensed television show Beyond the Break (2006). In 2007 she portrayed Rob Schneider's Receptionist. The G4 podcasts include "The Daily Nut" and "Formula D". It is her favorite pastime as she has practiced since her TV show Beyond the Break (2006). Additionally, she holds a black belt in taekwondo. At the age of two, her mom remarried. This time she married a US Air Force serviceman. In spite of the fact that family members moved around often, the mother of her child took her to Tokyo where she lived with the military. She was a journalist in the University of Oklahoma and also majored in Japanese drama, dramatic arts, and drama.
