Hayley Orrantia, an American actress, singer and song writer. Her most well-known role is Erica Goldberg from the TV comedy series "The Goldbergs". However, she's primarily an avid music fan. She says that music is always been her primary obsession. When she was 12, she took the music seriously enough that she began professional training. After experimenting with songwriting, she only recorded her album of covers at the age of 14. The music hasn't budged to the past ever since. Orrantia was born in the USA, yet holds Hispanic roots. Her family has Hispanic roots even though she spoke English when a young girl and spent her entire life in the USA. In order to maintain the tradition, she's studied Spanish and composed songs in that language. "Hasta Verte", a Spanish-language song which she recorded is an instance. Orrantia appeared on The X Factor during its debut season in the summer of 2011. Orrantia's YouTube video was selected and she got four "yeses", or votes for the judges during The Seattle audition. Her initial audition was in the show "Hollywood Week" as a solo artist. However, three other women singers and she were put together to audition for the remaining tracks. They were eliminated at the conclusion of the fifth performance.
